Sweets with Honey

Honey was an important sweetener in Medieval Europe because sugar was expensive. For an easy treat, try out crispels, which are crispy pastry dough brushed with honey. For a slightly more involved recipe, pokerounce is toasted bread topped with spiced honey and pine nuts. Both are a sweet treat for a party!
